Owen was at the Oswestry Food and Drink Festival on Sunday. Last year, around 15,000 visited over the two days, and numbers in excess of this were expected this year. There were 50 exhibitors mostly from within 30 miles of Oswestry celebrating truly local food and drink.
Owen said “I congratulate the organisers for putting on another great show, with a tremendous turnout for both days and so many local food producers there, including Abertanat Cheese, Jamie ward Meat and Muckleton Meats. The Festival packed the town centre on both days and is now a well established fixture with huge local support. I would encourage local people to support local producers, who are producing superb food and drink, whenever they can.”
