Owen Visits Morrisons in Oswestry

19 July 2010

Owen was invited to visit Morrisons supermarket in Oswestry on Monday.  He met the General Manager, Frank Cromie and Meat and Fish Manager, Tom Shield to discuss Morrisons efforts to help the local community by selling as much local produce as possible and employing more than 350 people in their North Shropshire stores.

Owen said “I was most impressed by the transformation of the store since Morrisons took over the old Somerfield store.  The supermarket’s commitment to local produce is admirable and I hope that they will develop their range of local suppliers in the future.
