Owen Paterson chaired the latest in a long line of health meetings to discuss the progress with the Health Village.
Phase OneHe is delighted that Phase One is progressing so successfully with the building work completing in February with the facilities ready to be opened in the spring. Owen said “I am pleased that Phase One is now going ahead. This will bring enormous benefits to people in Oswestry and I am particularly pleased that X-ray and Plastering facilities are included, saving patients from long and painful journeys to Wrexham and Shrewsbury.”
Phase TwoNow that the RJ & AH Orthopaedic Hospital has stated that they want to keep the Maternity Unit and DAART, it was agreed that Owen would have further meetings with the PCT and Shropshire Council to discuss the size and nature of Phase 2.
